Small but mighty, Dahlia ‘Hypnotica Yellow’ is a showy bloomer that is sure to be the star of your show, encouraging admiring glances from passers-by, and also bees and other pollinators from June to October. A compact new dahlia, part of a new series from the prestigious plant breeder, Dummen Orange. With an upright habit, reaching a height of around 50cm, each plant will spread to around 35cm. An excellent addition to your indoor floral arrangements, one plant will produce many blooms and the more you cut, the more they flower. Often treated as an annual bedding plant in the UK, Dahlia ‘Hypnotica Yellow’ is actually a half-hardy tuberous perennial and can easily be over-wintered in a frost-free environment, to be enjoyed in subsequent years. Unfussy on soil type, it does prefer to be grown in a warm sunny position, in either an east, south or west facing aspect, in any well-drained soil.
