Tell Me More...
Boasting a profusion of large, perfectly double, bi-coloured blooms, Dahlia ‘Hypnotica Lemon Swirl’ will illuminate your garden from June to October, and often longer. Encouraging both admiring glances from passers-by, and also bees and other pollinators into your garden. With an upright habit, reaching a height of around 50cm, each plant will spread to around 35cm. Excellent for cutting, the stems are strong and the starry yellow and white blooms make a long-lasting and bright addition to your indoor arrangements. Often treated as an annual bedding plant in the UK, Dahlia ‘Hypnotica Lemon Swirl’ is actually a half-hardy tuberous perennial and can easily be over-wintered in a frost-free environment, to be enjoyed in subsequent years. Unfussy on soil type, it does prefer to be grown in a warm sunny position, in either an east, south or west facing aspect, in well-drained soil.
