This specially curated collection of sumptuous Salvias is perfect for extending the season of interest in your garden. Spikes of beautiful blooms appear from May through to November above sage-scented foliage each year, which are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators. Your collection includes: Salvia nemerosa Caradonna – an award-winning variety, violet blue blooms are held on dark purple stems. Height and spread 60cm. Salvia nemerosa Pink Beauty – Rose pink blooms flower alongside darker maroon bracts. Height and spread 50cm. Salvia x sylvestris Serenada – wiry stems of deep maroon-purple hold a succession of almost luminescent mauve blooms. Height 50-70cm. Spread 30-60cm. Salvia Pink Mulberry – white-tipped pink flowers with fuzzy pink hoods appear above bushy foliage. Height 1m. Spread 65cm. Salvia nemerosa Blauhugel – grey-green fragrant foliage holds spired of blue blooms. Height and spread 50cm. Salvias prefer to be planted in well-draining soil in a position of full sun or part shade. Hardy perennials, they only require a mulch to protect them from the harshest winter frosts.
