Tell Me More...
Bicoloured Mexican beauty in delightful shades of purple A richly toned flower which produces masses of ‘self-cleansing’ blooms from June to September. Cuphea procumbens ‘Sweet Talk Lavender Splash’ ingeniously does not need deadheading as spent flowers will independently drop, taking away some of the hard work for you. The simple, deeply veined foliage emerges in March and grows to form bushy mounds of opposite facing leaves. Stems grow to 35cm tall and are smothered in windmill-like, bicoloured flowers with reddish purple interiors and paler white shades to the outside of each petal. A great way to bring generous colour to rockeries, baskets and containers as well as borders; enticing in pollinators as it grows. Flowers can also be cut for a vase or bouquet, allowing you to take their beauty away from the garden to enjoy indoors. Cuphea procumbens ‘Sweet Talk Lavender Splash’ is drought tolerant once it has established a good root structure and prefers a spot in well-drained soi
