The Crunchy Capsicum annuum Collection brings you standard and smaller plants and fruits - just perfect for container growing. Ideal for those of us who have a smaller garden, patio or balcony but still want to ‘grow our own’ for flavour, freshness and economy. Collection comprises ‘Jupiter’ H: 90cm; Award of Garden Merit holder, ‘Hamik’ H: 60cm; and ‘Gusto Purple’ H: 60cm. Other than ‘Jupiter’ (which produces 10cm fruits) crops are bite-size and perfect for snacking. All are sweet, with ‘Gusto Purple’ bringing a medium chilli heat which is not too fiery – just a warm and comfortable level of spice. Crunchy Capsicum annuum Collection fruits from July to October for 4 months of plentiful supplies. All are rich in Vitamin C and great for stir fries, salads and snacking. Plants prefer moist, well-drained soil which is loam or sand based and position in full sun. Warm, temperate annual vegetables which reach a spread of 50-60cm.
