An exciting newcomer to our range, Crocus x luteus 'Golden Yellow' does not only provides early pollinators with a fabulous feast - it is also a feast for the eyes with its rich, golden orange-yellow hues and decorous stripes on the central exterior of each petal. A robust crocus which is perfect for naturalising through lawns as well as planting in containers which can be admired on a table at eye level. So admired is this beauty that the Royal Horticultural Society has given it the Award of Garden Merit for its reliability and outstanding performance. Like most, Crocus x luteus 'Golden Yellow' will also happily establish in rockeries and open ground and make a beautiful inclusion in a posy vase. Bulbs should be planted in autumn and prefer well-drained soil in full sun. A hardy, bulbous perennial which will naturalise in the right conditions and grow to a height of 15cm.
