Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora ‘Emily McKenzie’ brings elegant, pleated, sword-like foliage to your garden lending elegant and intriguing spiked mounds from March through to October each year. Then, from June to August, bright and bountiful blooms in striking orange and red appear on arching, graceful darker stems for an intense and fiery jolt of colour. Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora ‘Emily McKenzie’ will reach a height of 60cm, with individual corms having a spread of 20cm. Corms are best, however, planted ‘en masse’ to form fantastic clumps of colour in borders and containers. These vigorous clumps may need dividing every 3 years or so, which means more plants for you or your fellow gardeners to enjoy.
