Tell Me More...
Cosmos Bipinnatus Rubenza will be one of the best bloomers in the border.Bursting with spirit, this half-hardy annual will passionately flower its heart out throughout the summer and into early autumn, sat atop oodles of attractive feathery foliage. Deep red, saucer-like, blooms, sway in the summer breeze, flashing their adorable yellow centres at passing birds, bees and butterflies. It is definietly no surprise that this plant was awarded an RHS Award of Garden Merit. The daisy-like blooms look great when cut for a kitchen display. Collect them in the morning, before the blooms open and they could last up to ten days in the vase. Incredibly, the more you deadhead the plant, the more the blooms magically appear. We absolutely love mass planting these for the fullest, brightest display possible. Cosmos grow in most ordinary garden soil, just ensure the area is well-drained and in full sun.H:75cm S:50cm.
