Tell Me More...
Cornus Miracle is a lovely colour changing plant for the border. Cornus alba Miracle has variegated green and white foliage in the Spring and early summer. These leaves start to develop a pink border which makes them exceptionally attractive. By the time we arrive at late-summer and early autumn the leaves have now become an intense purple-pink. As this plant is deciduous by late autumn and early winter the leaves fall to reveal bright red stems. You need never need worry about Cornus surviving a cold winter as this plant is hardy to an incredible -30 degrees Centigrade. Should you leave unpruned 'Miracle' may grow to two metres high, however prune in the spring to keep at a constant one-metre high; though no shorter. If you wish to see a plant miraculously change foliage colour, then grow 'Miracle'.
