Such showstoppers, spectacularly bright blooms are produced in profusion almost covering the neat clumps of lush, green foliage continuously from late spring to the autumn.Commonly known as 'Large Flowered Tickseed', a relative of the well-known wildflower, bees and other pollinators will come to visit for lively jollification from June to October. Gently naturalising, florists will delight as the blooms are added to fantastic indoor floral creationsYour collection comprises; 'Fancy' - cherry-red flowers with bright yellow margins; 'Jewel' - bright red petals with yellow-orange margins; 'Mellow' - vivid yellow-orange blooms with a red heart; and 'Moon' - soft yellow flowers with dark red heart.Hardy to around -20 C, rating H6 on the RHS scale, the Coreopsis Solar collection are happy to stay outside all winter without extra protection, becoming dormant over winter in readiness to sprout anew in the spring.
