Convolvulus cneorum is a member of the bindweed family, but do not be put off, for this pretty and compact plant thankfully does not share the same winding, climbing qualities of its cousin.Convolvulus cneorum is commonly known as Silver Bush, in reference to its gorgeous silvery-green foliage which is evergreen. Pale pink buds appear in early summer, opening up to cup-shaped flowers of pure white with a delicate yellow centre and a blush pink stripe as they are just open. The flowers bloom endlessly from June until September.Plant these lovely shrubs in a sunny spot which has well-drained soil, perhaps near the front of the border or on a bank where they will provide attractive groundcover.Convolvulus cneorum will reach an eventual height of about 60cm and a spread of up to 1m.Great in all planting schemes and works especially well with blue flowers which are complimented by the pretty foliage.
