Tell Me More...
Clematis integrifolia are celebrated for their charming, bell-shaped blooms, which adorn stems that meander through a border amongst existing plants. Flowering from June to September, encouraging bees and other pollinators to visit your garden for closer inspection, attractive silky seed heads follow. Otherwise known as the Solitary Clematis, the integrifolia is different to more well-known clematis as it bears no tendrils but is clump forming. Unlike their climbing cousins, Clematis integrifolia have a bushy, non-clinging, semi-trailing growth habit, reaching up to 2.5m in height and spreading about 1m wide. Perfect for borders, containers, or as weed-suppressing groundcover, they will fill gaps in borders or gently cascade over the edges of walls or containers. Resistant to many common pests and diseases, and hardy to around -15°C, these herbaceous perennials are a reliable and easy-to-grow choice for gardeners of all levels. Plant in a sunny position, into moist, fertile, well-drain
