Tell Me More...
Chionodoxa forbesii Pink Giant is a dazzling early blooming perennial also known as Glory of the Snow. A cluster of star-shaped pink flowers turn towards the sun with their white stamens reflecting the sun's glory. The foliage frames the plant perfectly. Announcing the start of spring chionodoxa forbesii flowers before the bluebells and is perfect for planting front or centre of a border. A clump could also be planted in a pretty container providing contrast or in a rockery. Pink Giant is a long-lasting flower to cut for a vase or bouquet. Chionodoxa are comfortable with dry conditions and prefer well-drained soil types as well as shelter from wind. Plant in sun or partial sun. These bulbs are planted in September-October and will present a glorious display in March. Plant several bulbs together for swathes of colour which will naturalise if left undisturbed and provide early spring colour for years
