A fantastic shrub, Cestrum elegans ‘Rubrum’ produces long, arching branches of evergreen foliage. Then, from June to September, clusters of highly fragrant, exotic looking, red blooms are produced. Flowers are sure to add a tropical touch to your summer and autumn garden and are a great way to pull in butterflies, bees and other pollinators too. Small, ornamental, non-edible purple berries follow in autumn and provide food for other wildlife. Slender and erect, Cestrum elegans ‘Rubrum’ is happy in either borders or large containers – providing valuable vertical structure and form to your garden.
