Petrorhagia is a small genus of plants within the carnation family and are native to the Mediterranean region. They are more commonly known as tunic flowers or coat flowers.
Petrorhagia are low-growing perennials with small flowers, similar to dianthus, that bloom in spring and summer and narrow, grass-like leaves. They are well-suited to containers or rock gardens and make great groundcover plants.
