Mimulus

History and Origin:

Mimulus is a genus of 7 species of plants within the Phyrmaceae family and are native to Asia, Australia, Africa, Madagascar and North America. Mimulus naturally grow in wet or moist areas.

About:

Mimulus can be perennials, annuals or evergreen shrubs. Two-lipped or trumpet-shaped flowers bloom in summer. As they prefer moist soils, they are well-suited to planting in damp beds, bog gardens or at the edge of a pond.
