Erigeron

History and Origin:

Erigeron is a genus within the Asteraceae family, native to North America. It is most commonly referred to as ‘fleabane’ although the common name is related to several other genus. The generic name is derived from the Ancient Greek words ‘eri’ meaning ‘early in the morning’ and ‘geron’ meaning ‘old man’, referring to the white hairs that appear on the subsequent fruit.

About:

Erigeron are annuals, biennials or perennials with thin, slender stems, simplistic foliage and crisp daisy-like blooms that flourish throughout summer.
