History and Origin:

Doronicum are a genus of plants within the Asteraceae family, native to Europe and southwest Asia. They are commonly known as Leopards Bane.

Doronicum are herbaceous perennials with attractive, heart-shaped foliage, slender stems and showy daisy-like flower heads. They are best suited to flower beds and borders within a cottage, informal or wildlife garden. Alternatively, they make wonderful cut flowers. You can expect to see Doronicum grow to an approximate height and spread of 1-1.5m (3-5).
