Convallaria

History and Origin:

Convallaria is a genus within the Asparagaceae family. The most prevalent species is Convallaria majalis that is commonly known as Lily of the Valley. This species is native to Europe.

About:

Convallaria are known as the happiness flower and were once used as a liquor to improve common sense and memory. Highly scented and small bell-shaped flowers are presented upon elliptical and ovate leaves, filling your garden with a heavenly sweet fragrance. These delicate blooms are shortly followed by plump red berries after the spring flowering season.
