History and Origin:

Ammi is a genus within the Apiaceae family, native to north Africa, southern Europe and southwest Asia. .


Ammi are annuals or biennials with an upright or spreading habit, creating dense mounds of luxurious and feathery foliage, topped with branched umbels of small, delicate and textured creamy-white blooms throughout summer. Ammi are best suited to flower beds and borders within a cottage or wildflower garden. Alternatively, they will make a fine addition as part of a bouquet or cut flower arrangements.
