Thriving in a fully sunny location, and preferring moist, well-drained soil, 'Sofia' is perfect for both borders and large containers. Not only introducing a tropical feel to your garden, but also attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies, supporting local biodiversity. Known for their versatility, Canna will dazzle in flower beds, borders, and container gardens. Reaching around 50cm in height and spreading to 30cm, they will introduce vertical interest to your garden and also your home when cut for a long-lasting addition to a vase. A tender perennial, offering a stunning display year after year, if grown in a container move it to a frost-free position, otherwise rhizomes can be dug up and stored over winter for replanting in the spring. Alternatively, many will grow CannaSol™ as an annual.
