A remarkable new variety ‘CannaSun™ Amalia’ is celebrated for its captivating beauty and vigorous habit. Boasting large, incredibly vivid blooms in a striking combination of fiery red and orange hues, they contrast dramatically against the lush, dark green foliage. Canna lilies thrive in warm climates and prefer to be grown in a south or west facing sunny position, in well-drained, fertile soil to flourish. Once established, CannaSun™ plants are relatively low maintenance. Known for their versatility, Canna will dazzle in flower beds, borders, and container gardens. Reaching around 50cm in height and spreading to 30cm, they will introduce vertical interest to your garden and also your home when cut for a long-lasting addition to a vase. A tender perennial, easy to keep frost free when planted in a container, where it can grow as a perennial, providing a spectacular display year after year. Alternatively, 'Amalia' can be grown as an annual or its rhizomes can be dug up and stored over winter.
