The foliage of Callistemon viminalis 'Hot Pink' has a graceful, weeping, compact habit and shrubs reach a moderate 1.5m tall with a spread of around 1m. This more compact habit makes them fit well in gardens of all sizes – even a sunny balcony if you are lucky enough to have one. Plant in moist, well-drained soil of any type except heavy clay. Provide a soil with an acidic or neutral pH and position in full sun with a south or west facing aspect for best results. An evergreen, half-hardy (H3) shrub which is surprisingly low maintenance and drought tolerant once it has established.
