Opulent and vivacious blooms to cascade and trail from pots and baskets, commencing in June and lasting through to October time. Verdant foliage emerges earlier, in April, and acts as the perfect backdrop to the sumptuous pink flowers of Calibrachoa ‘Calita Double Pink’. Flowers are like miniature roses, yet have decadent, darker veining to the silky petals for added appeal. ‘Calita’ is a relatively new arrival which has built in extra resistant to wind and rain as well as a beneficial, ‘self-cleaning’ habit. This means spent blooms will drop to the ground without the need for continual deadheading – they are then easily swept away, ready to be composted. Plant Calibrachoa ‘Calita Double Pink’ in well-drained soil which is sand or loam based. Position in full sun with a south or west facing aspect. A tender, herbaceous perennial most frequently grown as annual summer bedding – matures into generous mounds with a height and spread of 30cm.
