As suggested by its name, Buddleja davidii 'Flutterby Petite Snow White' offers a daintier variety of buddleja for those of us with smaller spaces or containers. This little beauty does not compromise on fragrance or flowering though, with panicles of scented blooms produced from July right through to October each year. These fabulous white flowers are a draw to bees and butterflies which add a fascinating additional element to the garden.Buddleja are native to China and Japan and have adapted readily to the UK climate, becoming an immensely popular hardy, deciduous shrub. The smaller Buddleja davidii 'Flutterby Petite Snow White' grows to a height of 75cm with a spread of 70cm - ideal for the front of a border, low growing hedge or focal container. Plants prefer a spot in either full sun or partial shade with any aspect other than north-facing. Ideally planted in well-drained soil, deadhead as flowers fade for a continual supply of blooms which are great for a vase as well as the garden.
