Brilliant Astilbe Collection looks stunning planted in a shady spot and will thrive in either open ground or containers as long as soil is kept moist. Excellent as cut flowers, Astilbe’s elegant feathery blooms last for at least a week when cut fresh for a vase and even longer when dried. Your collection comprises Astilbe x rosea ‘Peach Blossom’ with delicate orange-pink blooms held above ferny foliage on strong, wiry red stems (H&S: 60cm); Astilbe x arendsii ‘Gloria Purpurea’ in hot, magenta purple, held above bronze tinted green foliage (H: 80cm S: 60cm); and Astilbe x arendsii ‘Washington’ with creamy white plumes to blend and contrast (H: 75cm S: 60cm).
