Tell Me More...
Also known as the Rock Daisy. Brachyscome Brasco Violet is a half-hardy perennial which is often grown as an annual to avoid lifting and protecting over winter. It is an incredibly popular container plant which will provide you with copious amounts of large, violet coloured daisy-like blooms that have a contrasting yellow centre from June right through to September. Plant out once the risk of frost has passed and remember to acclimatise them for a week or so before leaving them outside permanently. Brachyscome Brasco Violet likes a moist but well-drained soil in full sun and will appreciate being regularly fed once nutrients are depleted from its original planting medium. It will naturally shape itself to a mound of verdant leaves interspersed with the amethyst-like blooms and should be deadheaded for your to fully appreciate this compact and delightful addition to your garden.
