Tell Me More...
Flowering long and hard from June until October, Bidens ferulifolia 'Pink Princess' produces masses of daisy-like flowers in radiating pink and white stripes with a yellow, central glow. Attractive dark green, ferny foliage lends a delicate air to these gently trailing blooms. A sight to behold as they tumble beautifully from hanging baskets, containers, window boxes and over walls. Alternatively, these bidens will also make excellent ground cover for a sunny spot. Deriving from a species found in Mexico, plants are tolerant of heat, wind, and drought. Tough, vigorous, and undemanding - the perfect summer bedding plant! Bidens ferulifolia 'Pink Princess' prefers moist, well-draining soil in full sun and reaches a height of 60cm with a spread of 45cm. A half-hardy perennial, often grown as an annual in the UK. Alternatively, container grown plants can be overwintered indoors for continued perennial growth (a cool greenhouse or conservatory is ideal).
