Outrageously audacious and demanding attention Unique and striking, Bidens ferulifolia ‘Samurai’ is vigorous and compact with bold, valiant daisy-like blooms from June to October. Neat mounds of fine, upright foliage to around 30cm tall are topped by a blanket of small, button-like buds on slender stems from spring to late autumn. Opening to reveal orange-red petals, each one striped with bright yellow, ‘Samurai’ creates bright, vivid displays in your summer and autumn borders, baskets, and containers. Related to a distant cousin named ‘Fern-leaved Beggar Ticks’ which originated from Mexico – a wonderful nectar-rich wild flower, pollinators will make a beeline to the fantastic blooms.
