Tell Me More...
Begonia 'Majestic Soft Pink' has a hint of romance to it with pastel pink ruffled, round blooms up to 20cm in circumference. Crinkled and serrated foliage, with just a hint of pink, accompanies the blooms and grows to form large, mid-green mounds. Foliage emerges in March and is held through to November, whilst flowers emerge slightly later, in June, and carry through to November, alongside the leaves.Begonia 'Majestic Soft Pink' is a great way to enhance your window boxes, baskets and pots as the beautiful blooms will cascade over container edges for up to 30cm. Equally at home in full sun as they are in a shady corner of the garden; these begonias will give a shot of perfect, pastel pink wherever you choose to plant them. Plants prefer a moist, well-drained soil and need to be deadheaded in order to promote continual foliage and flowers. Begonias are tender, cormous perennials which are frequently grown as annuals or summer bedding plants and will reach a height and spread of around 45cm. If you wish to overwinter plants then lift, and dry store them once temperatures consistently drop below around 5 C.
