A member of one of the most popular summer container plant families, Begonia illumination 'Golden Picotee' boasts a profusion of large, blousy, pendant blooms in shades of salmon, apricot, and coral orange all summer, and into the autumn until the first frosts. Almost luminous, the sunny warmth will radiate into your garden, whatever the weather, and dead heading is not required.With a gentle trailing habit, Begonia illumination 'Golden Picotee' will cascade and flow over the sides of your baskets and containers, creating an almost spherical, wonderous display. A half-hardy, tuberous tender plant with an RHS hardiness rating of H2, which will require protection from frosts, the tuber can be lifted and kept dry and above freezing, ready to be planted again the following year. Plant in moist, well-drained soil and a height and spread of 40-50cm will be reached.
