Variegated, star-shaped foliage with sparkly silvery markings An exciting new arrival with large, maple-like foliage which will lend a jungle vibe to shadier spots. Begonia x hybrida 'Gryphon' may produce pink flowers but production is scarce and sporadic to say the least. The underside of the leaves have a bronzed red colour for even greater dramatic impact. Held on strong, upright stems which mature to around 50cm tall. The mythical name of this beauty relates to its majestic appearance, alongside its strength and durability and, instead of being half lion, half eagle - Begonia x hybrida 'Gryphon' will happily live half outdoors and half indoors for enduring effect.
