Tell Me More...
An almost luminous colour collaboration from Begonia boliviensis ‘Bossa Nova™ Night Fever Papaya’. Well branched, dark and dramatic foliage emerges in March and is retained to November and sets off the rich orange, tubular flowers held from May to October. All you need do is deadhead as flowers fade, if they do not drop themselves, to ensure further supplies. Even better, these begonias have built-in tolerance of a variety of climates to keep flowering across right across three seasons. Your Begonia boliviensis ‘Bossa Nova™ Night Fever Papaya’ likes a spot in moist, well-drained soil of any kind except alkaline or heavy clay. Position in either sun or shade and be sure to store them away from frost over winter as they are tender, tuberous perennials. Plants mature to a height and spread of 45cm and will trail to around 30cm.
