A dazzling collection of Symphyotrichums, more commonly known as Asters, that will provide your garden with an abundance of colour and flowers at a time of year when other plants are beginning to fade, adding plenty of excitement during autumn. From August all the way through to November, an abundance of bold, daisy-like blooms with golden yellow centres appears on strong stems, creating colourful mounds that are perfect for filling gaps in mixed borders, beds, along the edge of pathways, or for planting in containers if you have limited space. The blooms are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and other pollinators who will appreciate the late source of pollen and nectar when not many plants are flowering. Easy to grow and unfussy on soil conditions, they are low maintenance, thriving in both sun and partial shade. Hardy perennials, they should not require any winter protection throughout most of the UK.
