Tell Me More...
No crevice, wall, or rockery shall remain bare with our Aspiring Arenaria Collection. Plants produce an abundance of little, solitary, star-shaped flowers collectively commencing in April and lasting through until August. The ground hugging, dainty foliage is evergreen and provides valuable low-level interest and a wildlife haven throughout the year. A vigorous growth habit means this perennial is quick to form mounds of delicate, grey-green foliage, cascading over edges of containers or walls when given the opportunity. An exceptionally low maintenance source of late spring colour and evergreen interest which is also attractive to beneficial pollinators. Composed of: montana 'Lemon Ice'; creamy yellow cup-shaped flowers. montana 'Snow White'; bright white cup-shaped flowers. purpurascens; deep pink star-shaped flowers. Prefer free draining, sandy soil in full sun, though plants will tolerate some shade. Plants are drought tolerant once established. Avoid excessive winter wet to ensure that you see these delightful plants at their best. H&S: 15cm x 30cm. Hardy, herbaceous, alpine perennials.
