Tell Me More...
Versatile, soft, needle-like sprays of verdant leaves An adaptable, generous fern with airy, delicate looking leaves which closely resemble those of an asparagus after the harvesting season. Alongside this, the leaves arch gracefully, like a fern, hence its common name. Amusingly the plant is neither an asparagus nor a fern - it is a member of the lily family which hails from southern Africa. Also known as the Foxtail Fern – foliage is also said to resemble a fox’s brush with its bushy, bountiful growth. Asparagus densiflorus sprengeri 'FuzzyFern Frizz' is ideal for planting in baskets and containers, either as a focal plant or amongst other flowering annuals. Foliage is held from April to August and reaches a height and spread of up to 60-90cm. Stems can be cut for vases and floral arrangements where they add interesting form alongside their foliage value. As a tender annual plant, your Asparagus densiflorus sprengeri 'FuzzyFern Frizz' will thrive outside during warmer months
