Dainty spherical blooms top robust, grassy cushions A new arrival for 2024, Armeria ‘Nodwood Pink’ produces mounds of verdant foliage with grassy, elongated leaves which are retained all year. In March to May these grassy clumps are crowned with flashy pink pom-poms which act as flags to pollinators, particularly bees, who will captivatingly move from bloom to bloom taking their fill of nectar. Armeria ‘Nodwood Pink’ joins a family of versatile, drought tolerant and vigorous plants. A perfect inclusion in both rockeries and pots, as well as borders and baskets. Furthermore ‘Nodwood Pink’ naturalises well once established – bringing you more of this perfect pink spheres along with the excellent, weed-suppressing abilities of the foliage. Plant in a well-drained soil of any type which benefits from full sun or partial shade. A hardy, evergreen perennial which should not require any winter protection throughout most of the UK and grows to a height and spread of 20-25cm.
