Tell Me More...
The salmon pink drumstick blooms of Armeria pseudarmeria ‘Dreameria Dreamland’ add a whimsical pop of colour from May to September in garden borders and containers. Known as Thrift or Sea Pinks, Armeria are traditionally popular in coastal gardens and rockeries due, in part, to their resilient nature. They also work well in a simple or modern planting scheme at the front of the border or lining the edge of a sunny pathway. Plants will reach a height and spread of up to 30cm over 2-5 years. Their tufted foliage and pretty pink pom-poms bring colour and form to the garden and flowers are adored by bees and butterflies. Armeria pseudarmeria Dreameria ‘Dreamland’ will thrive in full sun with any aspect other than north facing. Plant in soil which drains well and avoid heavy clay soils or over-watering pot grown varieties. Plants are drought tolerant once established and need deadheading once spent in order to encourage a steady stream of flowers.Propagate by division or basal cuttings in early spring.
