Tell Me More...
Dark and rich blooms, bring a sumptuous, palatial ambience to your summer space. From May through to October, Argyranthemum 'Aramis Velvet Red' will deliver bloom after joyous bloom of ruby red contrasting against the deep green, compact, well-branched aromatic foliage. Tolerant of drought, when established and fabulous for coastal, windy gardens make these the low maintenance stars of the summer. Argyranthemum 'Aramis Velvet Red' is a bee and butterfly's favourite feast as rich in pollen and nectar. If you can bear to spare a few blooms, they are great for vases or arrangements, bringing the outside in!This tender perennial is normally grown as an annual as it has an RHS rating of H2, however if planning to keep them over winter ready for the following year, they will need to be moved to a frost-free area. Plants prefer a sunny spot in well-drained soil and mature to a height and spread of 30-50cm.
