Tell Me More...
Argyranthemum frutescens 'Grandaisy Pink Halo' brings astounding bubble-gum pink blooms for six months of the year, each with with a central ring of red and an ochre-coloured centre. A member of the spectacular Grandaisy series, this neat, bushy plant has an exceptionally free flowering habit, whilst demanding very little care in return. The result of a recent cross between the argyranthemum and chrysanthemum, the Grandaisy series is notable for extra-large flowers (6cm across) borne in profusion over a long period. Vigorous, strong and with good weather resistance, these plants are a reliable choice for our unpredictable UK climate. Argyranthemum frutescens 'Grandaisy Pink Halo' prefer well-drained soil in full sun. Plants will reach a height and spread of up to 60cm and are half-hardy perennials which are often grown as annuals. Alternatively, container grown plants can be overwintered indoors for continued perennial growth (a cool greenhouse or conservatory is ideal).
