Prepare to be amazed as Arctotis x hybrida Flame becomes your never-ending, long flowering, living bouquet. Peek beneath the foliage to see a myriad of buds nestling, on the brink of exploding into the sunlight. An astonishing number of large, flamboyant, solitary bright orange flowers up to 8cm wide are borne on long thick stems, above finely cut, silvery foliage from late spring, until the first frosts. Such a long flowering period, your local pollinators will come visiting for weeks on end while deer and rabbit tend to keep away. A drought tolerant African Daisy which prefers to be grown in well-drained soil in a sunny spot, although can cope with part shade. Reaching a height of 50cm and spreading to around 30cm, Arctotis x hybrida Flame is a tender perennial which will not survive temperatures below 5 C,
