Tell Me More...
Enduring effervescence One of the most floriferous plants we know, Arctotis 'Hope' is like an almost never-ending living bouquet for your borders and containers.Incredibly long flowering, a profusion of white, daisy-like blooms with yellow central band and brown centre are produced from June to October and often longer. Each flower is held high on a long, wiry stem - but peek beneath the finely cut, silver-grey foliage and you will see even more buds curled up, just waiting to reach upwards and open towards the sunshine. Florists will delight and local pollinators will visit your garden for weeks on end for a treat. A drought tolerant African Daisy which prefers to be grown in well-drained soil in a sunny spot, although part shade will be tolerated. Reaching a height and spread of 30cm, Arctotis 'Hope' is a tender perennial with a RHS hardiness rating of H2, that will need protection as temperatures drop below 1-5 C.
