Mounds of golden, glowing blooms You will be amazed of the sheer number of blooms which one Arctotis ‘Heidi’ plant can produce. Oodles of rich yellow, daisy like flowers with velvety looking petals and a yolk yellow centre are produced from June right through to October time. Stems are long and strong – ideal for a vase as well as a garden border – and blooms measure up to 8cm across for maximum impact. Foliage emerges in March and is finely cut with silver-grey tones. Enchantingly, if you peek beneath the foliage, you will see many more buds lining up for their turn to emerge and open in the sunshine. Pollinator friendly, the flowers have good weather resistance and reach a height and spread of 30-40cm. Arctotis ‘Heidi’ is a tender, herbaceous perennial which will need protection from temperatures consistently dipping below 1-5°C.
