Hardy Japanese Anemone x hybrida Honorine Jobert is a must have for every autumn garden, sure to brighten up any shady spot. Clumps of dark green, divided leaves are topped by tall wiry stems, each holding several pure white single flowers and bright yellow stamens that are just perfect for attracting local butterflies. The common name Windflower is accounted for in several ways, one of which is William Turner’s statement ‘The flower never openth itselfe, but when the wynde bloweth’. With elegant poise, Honorine Jobert wave showy flowers high above maple-like leaves, providing movement in your garden.
