Invite Anemone hupehensis var. japonica 'Prinz Heinrich' into your garden and pollinators will be drawn in too, like courtiers to a feast. A perfect addition to the back of a border or carefully placed container; bringing flashes of intense colour above maple-shaped, dark green leaves (which emerge in April and remain until October time).Anemone hupehensis var. japonica 'Prinz Heinrich' comes from robust stock and will settle in almost any garden - even in coastal settings. What's more the deer and rabbit resistant clump will spread by suckers, producing more blooms each year, which are excellent when cut as an airy addition to your indoor floral arrangements. Japanese anemone are just about carefree, plant in moist, well-drained soil which benefits from sun or part shade. Fully hardy, herbaceous perennials which need no winter protection.
