Showy and exotic, glamorous, funnel-shaped blooms in a rich riot of dazzling colours will add warmth to your garden from June to November. Boasting up to 100 blooms on each plant, these cottage garden favourites are equally suited to more modern planting styles. Hardier than they look, they will form attractive clumps which gradually increase in size over an impressively long lifespan. The ‘Amazing Alstroemeria Collection’ comprises; 'Duc d'Anjou Charles' - an unusual rose-pink addition, streaked with maroon markings and subtle yellow band, height and spread 50cm; ‘Layon’ - delicate, pale speckled yellow blooms with blush pink streaks, height 90cm, spread 50cm; and ‘Longue’ - glamorous salmon-pink flowers with yellow speckled throats, height 90cm, spread 50cm. Originating from the mountains and grasslands of South America, alstroemeria are some of the longest flowering, hardest performing plants available. Plant these hardy to half-hardy herbaceous perennials into moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade.
