We think these are just magical. Place in a moderately heated room and you will be amazed as each bulb emerges - several strap shaped, green leaves usually come first then two or three separate stems ready to bloom. After around 4-6 weeks the large, lily-like, trumpet-shaped blooms open wide in multiples on each strong stem. A sight to behold as they resplendently unfurl around Christmas time and into the new year.Ingeniously self-supporting on a clever steel wire stand, the bulb with a 30cm circumference is enveloped in wax for protection and moisture preservation. With all the energy and fluid it requires stored already in the bulb, it is maintenance free, so no planting or watering required. A different, botanical leaf motif on each bulb gives extra visual appeal.Place in a bright spot away from direct heat and sunlight, and each bulb will mature to a height of around 50cm, spreading to 36cm. Rotate every couple of days to ensure symmetrical growth.
