Your Nursery Favourites Alstroemeria Collection comprises a mix of the nursery’s best and most beautiful on the day of selection so incorporate a pleasing rainbow of colours to lift your spirits when they bloom from June to October each year - just remember to deadhead as flowers fade for continual supplies. A handy tip when using alstroemeria as cut flowers is to pull stems from the base, rather than snipping them. The ‘wound’ which is left prompts the plant into producing even more stems, so more flowers. Each plant will reach a height of 50-90cm and spread of around 50cm, and are happiest grown in moist, well-drained soil of any kind. The Nursery Favourites Alstroemeria Collection is unfussy on aspect, plant in full sun or partial shade for best results. A mix of hardy, herbaceous perennials, to around - 15°C .
