Tell Me More...
An exciting new variety, Agastache foeniculum Alabaster brings a profusion of flowering towers packed with small, tubular blooms. Reminiscent of a field of corn, the tall, slim spires visually explain why ancient Greeks named this plant very many ears of grain. Agastache foeniculum Alabaster flowers from July to October, with spires of creamy-white blooms stretching above bushy, deciduous foliage. A vigorous plant which will happily naturalise in the garden. Flowers are nectar rich and scent your borders or patio with delightful, liquorice fragrance. Passing pollinators are drawn in to feast on the beautiful blooms and birds will also be attracted to your agastaches if you allow the seed pods to remain over winter, as these provide a sustaining meal. Agastache foeniculum Alabaster prefers a spot in well-drained, fertile soil which enjoys full sun. Plants are drought tolerant once established and will reach a height of 90cm with a spread of 50cm. Half-hardy, herbaceous perennials which need protection if temperatures fall below -5 C.
