A new variant of agapanthus for 2024, the Agapanthus Vallée Collection is tougher and longer lasting than many others so provides year round foliage either in containers or open ground. The leaves are large, strong and straplike with colourful flowers borne on robust, upright stems commencing in June, lasting through to September. Your Agapanthus Vallée Collection comprises ‘de la Loire’ with its dark blue-purple flowers; ‘de la Sarthe’ with pure white blooms; and ‘de l’Authion’ with pale and perfect lilac blue tones. These exotic wonders hail from Africa and reach a height of up to 90cm, with a spread of 50cm. They are clump-forming perennials which love a spot in full sun with any aspect other than north facing.
